Sensitivity from teeth whitening is always transient. If the whitening causes any sensitivity, it goes away within one to two days after the treatment. The client returns to the state of sensitivity they had before starting the whitening process.
4. How long does teeth whitening last?
Typically you can expect whitening to last six months to a year, depending on the client’s habits. For example, red wine, coffee and smoking, and other darkening agents can cause a relapse.
5. How often can a person whiten teeth?
Depending on the service, for 30 and 45-minute sessions, we recommend every 3 months. For 60 minutes or over, we recommend six months to a year.
